SE-QLD the initial 1,200 car ‘Core-1 Fleet’ will have the below subscription tiers and pricing:
“Commuter $199 per week” - 1x car in use at any time - max 249km total use per week — intended use:
One person working less than 35km from home, travel to work and back daily with minimal weekend use.“Full time car $349^ per week” - up-to 2x cars in use at any time - max 499km total use per week — intended use:
replacing the need for 1~2x family cars for a household of 1 or 2 people“Family car(s) $499 per week” - up-to 3x cars in use at any time - max 900km total use per week - intended use:
a family of 4 can use this plan for work commuting and school drop offs
NOTE: If you need more than 900km total use per week &/or at times need 4x cars in use, you can add ‘Commuter” to this plan for $149 to add 1x extra car and 249km more use per week.
^$349 above assumes ‘2x cars in use’ - if you only ever need one car in use at any time this drops the rate to $249 per week
How will it work:
[Stage-1] - the initial FSD service allowed on roads without a human driver in QLD in 2024/2025 will likely only operate for ‘ASS - Actual Smart Summon [and parking/’reverse summon’]’ where you can send your car with NO human occupants away to park within a 5km or 10km radius of you (speculation).
Assuming this is approved for use on public roads in QLD in 2024/2025, the ‘handover’ points in SE-QLD will be ‘based’ on the locations of the “Hoppy’s” car wash chain locations as per this map:
the person ending a 4hr ‘block’ will ‘summon’ [reverse summon] the car to go and park at or near the closest Hoppy’s location, and the next person booking/using the car will simply summon the car to their home/work address and then ‘drive off’ in the car.
[you will need to be based (home and work address) not more than 35km from one of the above Hoppy’s sites to register to use the SE-QLD ‘Core-1’ fleet - you will need to also clean the car if and when needed at the end of your 4hr block and also charge the car* in your 4hr block if car is under 50% SOC]
STAGE-2:
When FSD is authorises for ‘full robo cab’ operations in QLD, then the cars will be in service 24/7 as robo cabs between ‘subscriber’ jobs, and the need to wait for a 4hr block to open up will no longer be necessary.
[at that time we (TeslaTaxi.com.au) will pay for full time staff to be based at Hoppy locations to do all of the car cleaning]
Profit splitting:
in ‘Stage-1’ the ‘sales-target’ will be that 3x subscribers [per car] are ‘sold’, that each average a $350 per week subscription value/spend as the limit of ‘demand’ that we will add to the pool.
[in Stage-2 this will be 5x subscribers per car]
total pool income (stage-1 - 1,200 cars - ~600x owners) is 3* 1200-cars * $350 = $1.26m/pw less ‘management fees’ of 5% to 15%^^ meaning returns per owner of $1800+ per week (assuming 2x cars per owner and the owner NOT adding ‘owner and subscriber’ - many owners will also be a ‘Family car’ level subscriber, so this $1800 would drop back to $1300)
Demand balancing:
When a persons books to use the car, by default this will be a 4hr block in ‘Stage-1’, if the person is just taking the car to get to work, they may end this block after ~30-min and as long as the car is not too dirty and still has >50% SOC, the person will ‘reverse summon’ the car back to a ‘depo’ location and the car will be made available for the next person that needs to book the car. The reason that we are limiting the subscriber pool to 3600 (3:1 from the 1200-car pool) is so 3x 4hr blocks makes the max time in use per day (on average) 12HRs - there will be some limits (detailed on our white paper) on how many times you can book a 4hr block per week — for example in a ‘Full Time Car’ subscription type this will be limited to 18x 4hr blocks per week.
THE FUN STARTS WITH ROBO CAB OPERATIONS:
We expect that not only will the above $1800 earnings per owner go up to over $2500 per week from the subscription pool income [Stage-2], but in addition to this; the robo cab earrings from any and all time that the cars are not used by the subscribers will add an additional $900~$1400 extra per week to this number [total expected earnings of $3400+ per week]

NOTE: you will need ‘not less than’ 2x cars [each with FSD] to be allowed to join the ‘Core-1’ pool as an owner (and not more than 10x cars per human; with a QLD drivers licence number as registered owner; ‘car ownership’ limit per pool)
After we fill the ‘Core-1’ pool, we may open ‘Core-2’ with a larger management fee withheld by TeslaTaxi.com.au to limit over supply of our service.

One 0f the above reference video clips mentions the fact that ‘ad supported rides’ may be 100% FREE to the user in the near future, our plan is to trial a system to allow some testing of this in ‘Stage-1’ by way of an iPad that you ‘hang’ over the main display (video coming soon on this to demo) so people can watch 5min or 15min of ads at the start of each drive to earn discounts and credits. More details on this trial will be covered in our white paper.
***; ‘Solar powered cars’ - part of the requirements to be a ‘car owner’ in our fleets will be that you either can charge the car at home and you have solar and battery storage at home. or you will need to make an investment in a ‘small solar farm’ project local to the base location of the cars you own in the fleet.
